Presidential-Level Publicity
Media Plus handled the turn-key publicity and media campaign for the historic Hyderabad visit of Iranian President Dr. Hassan Rouhani, from arrival through departure.
India’s Presidential Connect
A Media Plus and GAWAH delegation met President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad in December 2016 — a meeting independently recorded in the President of India’s Digital Library.
Global Conference Experience
Media Plus managed media coordination for the RCOG World Congress, involving nearly 3,000 delegates from 62 countries, with former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam delivering the key address.
International Media Training
The Media Plus Auditorium has hosted international training engagements under the Ministry of External Affairs’ ITEC programme, including a 2024 workshop for senior Sri Lankan government and media professionals on social media and AI.
Multilingual Media Innovation
The organisation built in-house multilingual DTP, translation, design, photography, video editing and PR capabilities across Urdu, English, Telugu and Hindi — reflecting Hyderabad’s multilingual character.

Its launch became a centrepiece of the organisations’ Silver Jubilee celebrations and brought together leaders from public life, journalism, culture, sport and civil society.

Media Plus begins
Founded in Hyderabad from a 169 sq. ft. office, with journalism at the centre of its media and publicity work.
Rashtrapati Nilayam, Hyderabad
Dr. Syed Fazil Hussain Parvez and a Media Plus/Gawah delegation met President Pranab Mukherjee. The meeting is documented in the official President of India Digital Library.
President of Iran’s Hyderabad visit
Media Plus served as official media coordinator for Dr. Hassan Rouhani’s historic state visit to Hyderabad.
Yudhvir Gold Medal in Journalism
Media Plus CEO Syed Khaled Shahbaaz received the Yudhvir Gold Medal in Journalism at Osmania University’s 80th Convocation after topping the MCJ course.

Dr. Syed Fazil Hussain Parvez
A veteran journalist and the driving force behind Media Plus and GAWAH. Media Plus records him as the first recipient of the Press Council of India’s National Award for Excellence in Journalism. His career spans more than four decades in journalism, publishing, advertising and public communication.
Syed Khaled Shahbaaz
A journalist, author and media professional who combines journalism, public relations, technology and business intelligence. He is a gold medalist from Osmania University, received the Yudhvir Gold Medal in Journalism, and authored The Kohinoors.
