Key Personalities Including Sri Lankan Prime Minister’s Advisor Participate

Hyderabad, July 6: Media Plus hosted a workshop on social media and Artificial Intelligence at their auditorium on July 6. The workshop saw participation from senior officials of the Sri Lankan government, prominent figures from print and electronic media, and academic experts. Media Plus CEO Syed Khaled Shahbaaz shared insights on the present and future of social media in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

The workshop was organized by the Dr. MCR HRD Institute as part of the Ministry of External Affairs Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Program.

The Sri Lankan delegation included the Sri Lankan Prime Minister’s Media Advisor, Mr. Sugeeswara P. Senadhira; Media Secretary to the Deputy Speaker of the Sri Lankan Parliament, Mr. Wele Kankanamage Prasada Manju; Chief Editor of Sunday Observer, Pramod de Silva; Media Secretary to the Central Province Governor, Maheeshwara Buddhika Bandara Kirindigoda; along with editors from national TV channels and newspapers.

This event was a segment of the “Two-week Training Program on Media Management for Media Professionals from Sri Lanka,” during which the participants engaged in various sessions, cultural programs, and sightseeing activities. The workshop facilitated a valuable exchange of knowledge and best practices, strengthening ties between the two nations through enhanced media collaboration.
