Media Plus had the privilege of being the Media and Public Relations coordinator for the ‘Empowering Global Youth’ conference held at Park Hyatt Hotel in Hyderabad. Organized as part of bilateral engagements in Hyderabad by the British High Commission and Islamic research seminary Al Mahadul Aali Al Islami, the conference marked conclusion of a series of workshops with the partnership of MS Education Academy and social welfare organization ‘Rubaroo’.

It aimed at empowering the Muslim youth and help them develop essential skills to effect positive change in their lives. Media Plus coordinated the entire program with British Dy. High Commission right from media planning to rolling out invitations, crafting Press Releases, and arranging a full house participation of the print and electronic media.

The program was followed by a panel discussion on “Empowerment of Muslim youth” with Ms. Anjum Babukhan, Director Springfields School; Father Packiam Samuel, Director, Henry Martin Institute and an Islamic Scholar. Dr. Sita Murthy of Silver Oaks School also participated. Earlier, a handbook titled ‘Young Muslim and Global Citizen’ was released and made available as open source material to be downloaded and adopted by other institutions
